Job DescriptionOperating within a highly collaborative global research network for Alzheimer's disease at Boston University School of Medicine, the successful applicant will:
- Maintain and update web-based database systems for Alzheimer's disease.
- Develop and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) pipeline and software tools for patient subtyping, target prioritization, and drug repositioning projects for Alzheimer's disease.
- Conduct high-level AI-enabled analyses across diverse data modalities including genomics and multi-omics data, alongside imaging, fluid biomarker, digital health, and drug data.
- Manage code repositories, standardization of software tools, and comprehensive technical documentation for reproducible research.
- Prepare reports and manuscripts.
- Provide technical support and train to a multidisciplinary team of faculty and trainees.
Required SkillsThis position requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of work experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Successful candidates demonstrate significant experience in AWS/Linux cloud environments and GitHub/GitLab repository and advanced proficiency in AI programing and tools such as Python, R Shiny, and frameworks for Large Language Models (LLMs) or Graph Neural Networks (GNNs).
