Drives research and development of cutting-edge testing tools and methodologies, staying at the forefront of security innovation. Uses deep expertise to recognize and escalate more nuanced, highly complex security violations, leveraging advanced technologies and industry best practices. Coordinates comprehensive compliance assessments, identifying and addressing high-complexity security compliance gaps. Oversees the implementation of robust data security frameworks, ensuring the effective utilization of encryption, hashing, masking, access management, and other advanced techniques to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.

SecurityMonitoring - Security Tool Design and Development:

- Overseescomprehensive security assessments across a wide range of complex products andservices.

- Drivesresearch and development of cutting-edge testing tools and methodologies,staying at the forefront of security innovation.

- Providesexpert guidance and leadership in security design and coding (e.g., reviewingcode, writing code for complex investigation), influencing Oracle's securitystrategy and roadmap.

- Proactivelyparticipates in reviews of security alerts.

EventResponse:

- Usesdeep expertise to recognize and escalate more nuanced, highly complex securityviolations, leveraging advanced technologies and industry best practices.

- Overseesthe containment and mitigation of high-impact security events, ensuringeffective response and recovery.

- Contributesto in-depth post-event reviews, identifying systemic vulnerabilities anddriving continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance:

- Coordinatescomprehensive compliance assessments, identifying and addressinghigh-complexity security compliance gaps.

- Overseesthe review of security compliance deliverables, ensuring alignment withinternal and external obligations.

- Implementscompliance strategies, staying abreast of internal and external obligations.

- Overseesthe management of Oracle-wide inventory systems, implementing systems andcontrols to track and secure company assets.

BusinessContinuity Support:

- Strategizesbusiness continuity and disaster recovery plans, aligning them with Oracle'sgoals and internal and external obligations.

- Implementscomprehensive plans, processes, and procedures to safeguard critical systemsand data, leveraging advanced technologies and risk management frameworks.

- OverseesOracle's readiness for certifications and audits, driving continuousimprovement and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

DataSecurity and Privacy:

- Overseesthe implementation of robust data security frameworks, ensuring the effectiveutilization of encryption, hashing, masking, access management, and otheradvanced techniques to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitiveinformation.

- Conductsaudits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing documentation and procedures,leading efforts to continuously improve data security practices Oracle-wide.

Researchand Innovation:

- Guidesresearch, thought leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders to drive thedevelopment of cutting-edge security solutions that address emerging and futurethreats.

- Monitorsthe global security landscape, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities forOracle to maintain a competitive edge in security practices.

- Drivesthe exploration and adoption of innovative techniques and technologies to solvehighly complex and newly emerging security problems.

Planning& Execution:

- Managesand provides direction on timelines, deliverables, and budgets when applicablefor critical high-impact projects or initiatives that impact the line of business,ensuring timely completion and adherence to requirements.

- Anticipatesand plans for shifts in resources or timelines based on changing businesspriorities, ensuring optimal outcomes.

Collaboration& Partnership:

- Influencescross-functional leaders and external stakeholders to gain alignment onstrategic objectives.

- Fosterspartnerships with key business leaders, stakeholders, and/or customers,identifying opportunities for expanding partnerships and promoting long-termorganizational success.

- Championstransparency and inclusivity by actively seeking, listening to, andincorporating diverse perspectives.

- Leadsspecialized, advanced problem-solving efforts, serving as an escalation pointfor complex issues.

Performanceand Development:

- Servesas a subject matter expert regarding talent needs and organizational talentstrategy.

- Impartsleadership and expert knowledge throughout the talent development pipeline,including candidate interviews, candidate assessment, and hiring decisions,ensuring alignment with organizational talent strategy.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $130,000 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
