Summary

This role will be supporting a global network RFP by providing hands on expertise with Juniper Mist switching, wireless, and Juniper Policy Manager in a dedicated lab environment. The engineer will help configure, validate, and demonstrate Juniper capabilities required by a customer as part of a formal lab evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and support Juniper Mist switches and access points in a lab environment.
  • Implement and validate Juniper Policy Manager to support device authentication and policy based access.
  • Support NAC style use cases, including automated VLAN assignment based on device identification and policies.
  • Work with internal engineers and architects to execute provided lab use cases during the evaluation period.
  • Assist with developing standard configurations, templates, and documentation resulting from lab testing.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands on experience with Juniper Mist Networks (switching and wireless).
  • Experience implementing or supporting Juniper Policy Manager.
  • Strong understanding of network access control concepts, device onboarding, and policy based networking.
  • Ability to contribute quickly in a short duration, high visibility lab engagement. Engagement Details
  • Lab hardware located in Naperville, IL; physical presence not required due to on site smart hands.
  • Work is focused entirely on a closed lab environment, not production networks.
