Summary

Title: Technical Lead – Healthcare Notifications

Location: Remote

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of scalable, resilient, and maintainable backend solutions.
  • Evaluate different technical approaches, challenge assumptions, identify risks, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Design and implement cloud-native, distributed, and event-driven architectures.
  • Identify opportunities for architectural improvements, modernization, and technical debt reduction.
  • Ensure solutions follow engineering best practices, including performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and technical mentorship to the development team.
  • Contribute hands-on to web application development, backend development, API design, cloud architecture, and integration.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, enterprise architects, and cross-functional teams to align on technical strategy, cross-system integrations, and architectural decisions.
  • Drive documentation, performance improvements, and platform reliability.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience with C# / .NET
  • Experience with Kong API Management (APIM)
  • Strong Azure or AWS cloud experience
  • Expertise in API development, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native design
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with web application development using Blazor
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, containerization, or event-driven patterns
  • Cloud or technical certifications
  • Healthcare industry domain experience
