Summary

Requirements

8 or more years of experience in Micro Focus Visual COBOL development on Windows Server platforms.
Proficiency in Visual Studio 2019/2022 and enterprise-level application debugging.
Experience with relational database programming in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience in IIS configuration and web service hosting for COBOL-based applications.
Experience with .NET frameworks including C# and VB.NET for multi-tiered system integration.
Experience in developing complex batch processing systems and backend business logic.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and implement high-performance business functions using Micro Focus Visual COBOL.
Troubleshoot and remediate complex application defects within Windows Server 2022 environments.
Lead the development of enterprise-level batch programming and data extraction processes.
Configure and optimize IIS application tiers to support web service and UI integration.
Develop complex SQL queries and database logic for Oracle and MS SQL platforms.
Translate functional business requirements into technical designs and scalable code.
Execute comprehensive unit testing and promotion of code within a multi-tiered architecture.
