Sr Change Release Management Analyst

job summary:

As an IT change release management analyst senior, you'll join a team of 20+ teammates supporting software development teams who are responsible for all our key business applications. The mission of this centralized team is to plan and deploy software releases developed through both waterfall and agile methodologies. This need is release focused.

salary: $39.28 - 49.28 per hour

responsibilities:

- Serve as a single point of contact for change control, release planning, and application deployment, ensuring that changes are properly scheduled, managed to mitigate risk and delivered on time with high quality.

- Interact daily with other release planners, developers, testers, project managers, and service managers.

- Responsible for planning and performing software deployment to development, test, and production environments which are performed on distributed (server), cloud, and mainframe platforms.

- The deployments are executed both during and before normal business hours, with an occasional need for weekend deployments. For major projects, availability for support after the promotion is completed is expected.

qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology, or related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Business Management) and a minimum of four years of work experience analyzing, planning and implementing business system changes.

- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience analyzing, planning and implementing business system changes may be accepted.
