Job Description:
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Veeva Event Management Tech Lead to lead the technical design, configuration, integration, and delivery of Veeva Event Management solutions. The role will work closely with business, functional, integration, testing, and support teams to deliver scalable and compliant event-management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead technical design and implementation of Veeva Event Management capabilities.
· Translate business and functional requirements into appropriate technical solutions and configurations.
· Own solution design for event lifecycle capabilities including event creation, planning, speaker management, attendee management, approvals, notifications, and event closure/cancellation.
· Lead Veeva configuration, technical development, integrations, and deployment activities.
· Design and oversee integrations between Veeva and upstream/downstream enterprise platforms.
· Perform technical impact analysis and provide estimates for enhancements and change requests.
· Conduct technical design and code/configuration reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
· Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and drive root-cause resolution.
· Support SIT, UAT, deployment, go-live, and hypercare activities.
· Coordinate with Veeva functional leads, architects, developers, testers, business teams, and external vendors.
· Ensure solutions align with pharmaceutical compliance, security, audit, and data-governance requirements.
· Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers and support teams.
· Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, interface specifications, and deployment documentation.
Required Skills
· Strong hands-on experience with Veeva Event Management / Events Management capabilities.
· Good understanding of the end-to-end pharmaceutical event management lifecycle.
· Experience with Veeva CRM and/or Vault CRM and related configuration/customization.
· Strong understanding of Veeva objects, workflows, business rules, security, and data model.
· Experience designing and troubleshooting API/integration solutions.
· Understanding of CRM integration patterns, middleware, and enterprise systems.
· Experience with data migration, release management, testing, and production deployment.
· Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to lead technical discussions and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with Vault CRM migration or Veeva CRM-to-Vault CRM transformation.
· Knowledge of Veeva integrations with systems such as MDM, consent, finance/payment, content, and reporting platforms.
· Experience working in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Commercial IT.
· Experience leading offshore/onshore development teams.
Leadership Expectations
· Own technical delivery from requirement analysis through go-live and hypercare.
· Act as the primary technical point of contact for Event Management.
· Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and impacts of integration.
· Drive design standardization and reusable technical patterns.
