Role: Lead Risk & Compliance Business Analyst

Location: McLean, VA Fully onsite

Type: Contract

W2 Role

Role Details & Scope:

    • Functional Lead position (no direct reports) supporting the Operations team (this is NOT a testing team).
    • Primary focus on Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Information Security, and Operational Risk.
    • Hands-on involvement in SOC reviews (specifically SOC 1 Type 2), internal controls, and control enhancements.
    • Responsible for process/data flow design, requirements gathering, translating business needs to technical requirements, and financial statement analysis.

Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Prior experience as a Team Lead / Functional Lead.
    • Strong expertise in TPRM, Information Security, and Operational Risk.
    • Advanced skills in spreadsheet formulas, Excel automation, and financial statement analysis.
    • Essential knowledge of SOC reviews (including SOC 1 Type 2) and controls.
    • Nice to Have: IT Audit background, Mortgage industry experience.
