• We are seeking an experienced Java WebSphere Architect to design architect and lead enterprise scale Java applications hosted on IBM WebSphere platforms.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaJ2EE technologies IBM WebSphere Application Server WAS enterprise integration cloud modernization and application performance optimization.
• The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders development teams infrastructure teams and architects to deliver scalable secure and high performing enterprise solutions

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Solution Design

• Define enterprise architecture standards frameworks and best practices
• Design scalable secure and resilient Java based solutions on IBM WebSphere platforms
• Create high level and low level design documents architecture diagrams and technical roadmaps
• Review and approve application design technology choices and implementation approaches
  WebSphere Administration Middleware
• Architect and support WebSphere Application Server environments including clustering deployment and high availability configurations
• Define deployment topology capacity planning failover and disaster recovery strategies
• Lead WebSphere upgrades migrations and modernization initiatives
• Ensure application reliability scalability and operational excellence

Application Development Integration

• Provide technical leadership for JavaJ2EE application development teams
• Design enterprise integrations using MQ JMS APIs web services and messaging frameworks
• Review code quality architecture compliance and application security standards
• Drive adoption of modern architectural patterns and reusable frameworks

Performance Security

• Analyze and resolve complex performance issues across application and middleware layers
• Implement security best practices including SSO LDAP OAuth SSL and authentication frameworks
• Conduct architecture reviews risk assessments and security evaluations
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards

Variable Compensation: This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
