React Native Technical Lead - Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled React Native Technical Lead who will drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership, mentoring ability, and a delivery-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the endtoend design and development of complex mobile features using React Native.

Maintain a scalable, secure, and maintainable codebase while enforcing best practices.

Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and ensure highquality technical output.

Identify performance bottlenecks, debug complex issues, and deliver optimized mobile experiences.

Guide a team of developers, providing mentorship, technical direction, and support.

Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to clarify requirements and deliver features on time.

Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, release cycles, and ensure on-time delivery.

Enforce high code quality including unit testing and automated testing practices.

Oversee mobile release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and versioning workflows.

Ensure pixelperfect UI implementation and app performance across devices.

Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate modern development workflows.

Required Technical Skills

  • 9 10+ years of mobile app development; 5+ years with React Native.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React patterns, Redux/ReduxSaga.
  • Handson experience integrating native modules (iOS & Android).
  • Handson experience integrating Figma designs into native modules (iOS & Android).
  • Expertise in debugging, profiling, and performance tuning.Experience working with REST APIs, backend integrations, and mobile storage.
  • Understanding of mobile lifecycle, build tools, and deployment for both platforms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git.
  • Experience in working in Agile environment and aware of Agile processes & ceremonies to follow.
  • Familiarity of secure coding processes, risk management/mitigation processes.
  • Familiarity of build/review test cases, % code test coverage of deliverables by development teams.
  • Nice to have knowledge of prompt engineering, usage of available co-pilots to automate or generate quick details (like test cases, code reviews / efficiency improvements et al)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Node.js or Express.
  • Exposure to cloud services (Firebase, AWS Amplify, App Center).
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and analytics.
  • Latest certifications on underlying technology and Agile processes are preferred.
  • Awareness of risk & compliance, KPIs and other performance indicators for functional and non-functional requirements.

Bachelor s / Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a technical lead or senior mobile engineer.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 118000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 180000 per year
