GIS Business Analyst

Introduction:

As a GIS Business Analyst, you will play a key role in our team by utilizing your expertise in GIS, ArcGIS, and BSA to analyze business processes and requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and interpret data, create maps, and provide valuable insights to drive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements
• Utilize GIS software to analyze and visualize data
• Create maps, charts, and reports to communicate findings
• Develop and maintain GIS databases
• Provide support and training to team members on GIS tools and techniques
• Participate in Agile development processes using JIRA
• Stay current on GIS trends and technologies

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS
• Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Experience using JIRA for project management
• Previous experience in a similar role
