Summary

The Module Delivery Leader (MDL) is engineering and delivery leader accountable for end?to?end delivery, quality, and outcomes for an assigned product or solution module. The MDL acts as the single point of accountability for module execution, ensuring commitments are realistic, delivery is predictable, and outcomes meet both business and customer expectations.

This role requires a self?driven, proactive, go?getter leader who thrives in complex, matrixed environments, anticipates risks early, and drives clarity and accountability across engineering, product, and delivery teams-without waiting for direction.

The MDL is a trusted delivery partner to Product, Program, and Client Delivery leadership and plays a critical role in ensuring Gainwell delivers high?quality, scalable, and compliant healthcare solutions.

Your role in our mission

Module Delivery Ownership
Own end to end delivery for the module, including scope, schedule, quality, and commitments. Align execution with business priorities and capacity. Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations.

Technical Leadership
Lead cross functional engineering teams and partner with architects to ensure scalable, secure, and high quality solutions. Enforce best practices and support compliance with healthcare and MITA standards.

Planning and Governance
Drive module planning across release cycles, balancing priorities and capacity. Partner with Product Owners on tradeoffs. Track delivery, quality, and performance metrics and provide clear status updates.

Collaboration
Act as a trusted partner to Product, Program, and Delivery leadership. Coordinate across teams to resolve dependencies and ensure seamless execution.

Leadership and Culture
Promote accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement. Support team alignment, staffing, and engagement. Mentor team members and contribute to talent development.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution delivery, or technical program leadership.
  • 5+ years in a delivery, engineering, or people leadership role managing complex, multi?team initiatives.
  • Strong experience delivering enterprise?scale systems, preferably in Healthcare / Medicaid / MMIS environments.
  • Experience supporting maintenance & operations (M&O) alongside active development is a strong plus.

The pay range for this position is $93,400.00 - $133,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
