Job Description – Enterprise Systems Architect

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Systems Architect to design, develop, and oversee scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise technology solutions. The role will work closely with business and technology teams to translate business requirements into effective system architectures and ensure alignment with the organization’s technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define enterprise-level application and system architectures.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Develop architecture standards, principles, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements, modernization, or integration approaches.
• Design integration solutions across applications, platforms, databases, APIs, and cloud environments.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, availability, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, data, and business teams.
• Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
• Identify technology risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions based on business needs.
• Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technology roadmaps.
• Support major technology transformation and digital initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, system integration, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns, and technology standards.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, performance, and high-availability concepts.
• Experience with application modernization and technology transformation.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
