Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Drafter with experience in SolidWorks to support Modeling, Drawing Creation, Engineering change activities, and sustaining engineering projects. The candidate will work closely with design engineers and cross-functional teams to develop accurate 3D models and manufacturing drawings while ensuring adherence to engineering standards and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Provide drawing support for mechanical components, assemblies, and product updates.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings including GD&T, BOMs, tolerances, and assembly details.
  • Support ECN (Engineering Change Notice) / ECO implementation activities and maintain revision control.
  • Work on sustaining engineering tasks including design updates, legacy drawing modifications, and production support.
  • Coordinate with design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams for engineering documentation updates.
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards and manufacturing requirements.
  • Maintain CAD data and documentation within PLM/PDM systems.
  • Support prototype and production release activities.
  • Review and update existing drawings based on engineering feedback.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in SolidWorks modeling and drafting.
  • Good understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and drafting standards.
  • Experience with ECN/ECO processes and engineering documentation.
  • Knowledge of sustaining engineering and product lifecycle support.
  • Ability to create detailed part, assembly, and fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with BOM management and revision control.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
