Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for leading the organization''s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of information systems, networks, and sensitive government data. This role oversees security operations, risk management, compliance, and incident response while ensuring adherence to federal cybersecurity standards. The manager leads a team of cybersecurity professionals and collaborates with IT leadership to implement secure infrastructure and security best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization''s cybersecurity strategy and policies.
• Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and specialists.
• Monitor and protect networks, systems, and data against cyber threats.
• Oversee security operations, vulnerability management, and threat detection.
• Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and regulations.
• Manage risk assessments, security audits, and compliance reviews.
• Lead incident response and cybersecurity investigations.
• Implement and maintain security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into system architecture and development processes.
• Prepare reports and briefings for senior leadership on cybersecurity posture and risks.
• Manage cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Security Clearance (Secret or higher).
• Bachelor''s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Hands on experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Hands on experience of leadership or management.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Network security
  • Risk management
  • Security architecture
  • Incident response
  • Security monitoring
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cybersecurity certifications such as:
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  • CompTIA Security+
• Experience with federal cybersecurity frameworks such as:
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • FISMA compliance
  • FedRAMP
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience supporting federal government or defense programs.
