Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Cloud Migration Assessment to support enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

This is a strategic sales-delivery hybrid role for a professional who can translate complex infrastructure and application assessments into compelling business cases and migration strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong cloud migration, consulting, program management, executive communication, and enterprise technology sales experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Executive Assessment Report (EAR) narrative, quality, and executive positioning.

• Develop compelling executive presentations and business cases from technical assessment findings.

• Synthesize Infrastructure, Database, and Application architecture findings into a unified cloud migration strategy.

• Present directly to CTOs, CFOs, VP Infrastructure, and other C-suite stakeholders.

• Communicate financial outcomes including TCO, ROI, CapEx/OpEx trade-offs, velocity gains, and risk reduction.

• Manage the assessment-to-migration conversion pipeline and stakeholder alignment.

• Identify and address blockers between assessment delivery and migration commitment.

• Collaborate with Engagement Leaders, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Lead Program Managers.

• Support deal structure, Phase 2 scope definition, wave planning, and migration strategy.

• Drive customer confidence and urgency while maintaining strong executive relationships.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall experience, with strong Program Management, consulting, enterprise sales, or cloud program management experience.

• Proven experience in Cloud Migration / Cloud Transformation programs.

• Experience with AWS and strong understanding of cloud migration patterns.

• Knowledge of the 7Rs migration framework.

• Experience with AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP).

• Strong understanding of cloud economics, including TCO, ROI, CapEx/OpEx, and financial modeling.

• Experience presenting complex technical strategies to non-technical executive audiences.

• Strong executive storytelling and presentation skills.

• Experience building Executive Assessment Reports (EARs) and executive-level decks.

• Demonstrated ability to convert enterprise assessments or opportunities into committed technology programs.

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cloud migration assessment or pre-sales at AWS, a GSI, or cloud consulting organization.

• Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms for pipeline tracking.

• Experience in FinTech, Healthcare, or other regulated industries.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform cloud environments.

• Experience with migration wave planning and modernization strategies.

• Strong background working with C-suite executives.

You should be able to take a raw cloud assessment, identify the business value, build a compelling migration story, and communicate that value effectively to both CTO and CFO-level stakeholders.
