Oracle OCAs SME CCaaS Migration Architect
Position Summary
Enterprise-level SME to lead Oracle OCAs routing architecture for multi-year CCaaS migration. Own Wave-0 design inputs, core routing configuration, migration sequencing, integration validation, and knowledge transfer. Migrating from Genesys on-prem to Nice.Core ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Design
- Define OCAs routing model (call flows, queues, skill groups, IVR logic).
- Translate business requirements into scalable routing patterns.
- Establish reusable artifacts for multi-wave migrations. Wave-0 & Migration Planning
- Contribute to turnkey build definition.
- Define migration sequencing and rollback strategy.
- Map current dial plans and routing logic to OCAs framework. Integrations
- Validate integration with CCaaS platform APIs.
- Ensure compatibility with CRM, SSO, CTI, WFM, reporting.
- Oversee testing scripts and acceptance criteria. Governance & Documentation
- Create runbooks, SOPs, cutover checklists.
- Establish naming/version control standards.
- Define change governance model (business hours vs emergency). Day-Two Enablement
- Define operational support model post-go-live.
- Train internal engineers on admin + troubleshooting.
- Provide escalation support during early migration waves. Required Experience
- Deep hands-on Oracle OCAs architecture + configuration.
- Led enterprise routing implementations.
- Experience migrating on-prem to CCaaS environments.
- Strong integration background (CRM, SSO, CTI, reporting, WFM).
- Ability to drive documentation and executive-level design reviews.
- Operates as strategic technical lead, not tactical admin. What Actually Matters Most
- Migrating from Genesys on-prem to Nice
- Proven enterprise OCAs deployment experience
- CCaaS migration track record
- Architecture ownership in multi-site cutovers
