Experience: 12–15+ Years
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract (As Applicable)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IAM (Identity and Access Management) Program Manager to lead and oversee large-scale IAM and security advisory programs across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, enterprise IAM initiatives, stakeholder management, governance, and executive-level communication.

The IAM Program Manager will provide strategic leadership, establish program governance, oversee multiple IAM Project Managers and delivery teams, and ensure alignment with contractual commitments, enterprise security architecture, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

This is primarily an advisory, governance, and program oversight role. The individual will be responsible for driving coordination, planning, reporting, risk management, and delivery oversight rather than hands-on technical implementation or change execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall program leadership, governance, and strategic oversight across multiple IAM workstreams.
  • Own end-to-end program planning, including scope definition, milestone tracking, resource coordination, dependencies, and delivery cadence.
  • Ensure IAM initiatives are executed in accordance with approved Statements of Work (SOW), defined scope boundaries, and regulatory expectations.
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple IAM Project Managers, delivery leads, architects, and subject matter experts.
  • Establish and lead program governance forums, steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and stakeholder checkpoints.
  • Identify, track, and manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and cross-workstream impacts.
  • Ensure consistent execution of office-hours-based and consultative engagement models across IAM initiatives.
  • Provide strategic and administrative oversight of IAM cleanup, segregation, migration, and remediation initiatives.
  • Review and validate IAM recommendations and deliverables for alignment with enterprise IAM architecture, security policies, and compliance standards.
  • Act as the primary client-facing leadership contact for overall IAM program delivery.
  • Prepare and present executive-level dashboards, status reports, presentations, and program metrics.
  • Drive collaboration and alignment among IAM architects, SMEs, Project Managers, client stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Support prioritization, sequencing, and decision-making across parallel IAM workstreams.
  • Ensure program metrics, lessons learned, and best practices are documented and consistently applied.
  • Mentor and guide IAM Project Managers and delivery leads to maintain delivery quality and governance standards.
  • Proactively escalate critical risks, delivery challenges, and scope conflicts to executive sponsors.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with security, compliance, audit, application, and platform teams.
  • Ensure the program remains advisory and governance-focused without assuming hands-on implementation or technical change ownership.

Required Qualifications

  • 12–15+ years of overall program and project management experience.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale IAM, Identity Governance, or enterprise security advisory programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple parallel workstreams across geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise Identity and Access Management concepts, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience overseeing IAM initiatives involving access cleanup, access segregation, migration, remediation, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple Project Managers, technical leads, architects, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong experience in client relationship management and executive stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program governance, planning, dependency management, risk management, and delivery oversight.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a consultative and advisory engagement model.
