Position Description: CGI is looking for a GEN AI Ops Intent Lead who will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and driving the successful delivery of Generative AI initiatives across the enterprise. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, governance functions, and platform teams to ensure GenAI solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.
The Intent Lead owns the end to end lifecycle of GenAI use cases, from intake and prioritization through deployment, adoption, and value realization. Working closely with engineering crews, architects, and business leaders, the Intent Lead ensures solutions align with strategic objectives, governance requirements, and operational needs.
This position will be performed onsite five days a week at our client site in Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, or Pittsburgh, PA.
Future duties and responsibilities
Product & Use Case Leadership
. Own the GenAI use case lifecycle from ideation through production deployment.
. Partner with business stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize GenAI opportunities.
. Define business objectives, success criteria, KPIs, and value realization metrics.
. Develop and maintain product roadmaps for GenAI initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
. Serve as the primary interface between business, technology, governance, and delivery teams.
. Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and use case intake discussions.
. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes.
. Communicate program progress, risks, and achievements to leadership teams.
Delivery Governance
. Guide engineering teams on business priorities and expected outcomes.
. Support sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release planning activities.
. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
. Participate in architecture, governance, and production readiness reviews.
Value Realization
. Define and track KPIs related to:
o Productivity improvements
o User adoption
o Operational efficiency
o Cost optimization
o Business impact
. Monitor realized benefits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
. Support ROI measurement and reporting activities.
AI Governance & Responsible AI
. Collaborate with governance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure GenAI solutions align with enterprise standards.
. Support Standards of Care (SoC), responsible AI, and model governance processes.
. Participate in use case risk assessments and approval workflows.
Change Management & Adoption
. Drive user adoption and organizational readiness initiatives.
. Coordinate training, communications, and stakeholder engagement activities.
. Gather feedback and prioritize enhancements based on business needs.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, or Technology Delivery.
. 3+ years of experience working with Generative AI, AI/ML solutions, data platforms, or digital transformation initiatives.
. Strong understanding of:
o Product Management
o Agile Delivery
o Business Process Transformation
o Generative AI concepts
o Enterprise Technology Platforms
. Experience managing stakeholder relationships across business and technology organizations.
. Proven ability to define roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and deliver business outcomes.
. Strong communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
. Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or highly regulated industries.
. Familiarity with:
o Generative AI
o Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
o Agentic AI
o AI Governance
o Model Risk Management (MRM)
. Experience leading enterprise platform or transformation initiatives.
. Successful onboarding and delivery of GenAI use cases.
. Achievement of defined business outcomes and KPIs.
. Increased user adoption and business engagement.
. Effective prioritization and governance of the GenAI portfolio.
. Improved time to value for GenAI initiatives.
. Alignment of GenAI investments with strategic business objectives.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $156,700.00.
