ServiceNow Lead Developer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

1. 6–12 years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow platform.
2. 4+ years of experience specifically in ServiceNow HRSD module implementation.
3. Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and REST/SOAP integrations.
4. Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal / Employee Center.
5. Configure MID Servers, data sources, and API connections.
6. Create custom dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics indicators for KPIs and trends.
7. Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM processes.
8. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
9. ServiceNow HRSD Implementation Specialist.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. HRSD Development & Configuration

1. Configure and customize HRSD modules including:
• HR Case Management
• Employee Service Center
• Lifecycle Events
• HR Catalog & Record Producers
• HR Knowledge Management
2. Develop custom applications, workflows, Flow Designer flows, and integrations.
3. Implement role‑based access controls, HR security rules, and COE separation.

2. ITSM Development & Configuration

1. Configure and customize core ITSM modules:
• Incident Management
• Problem Management
• Change Management
• Request Management
• Knowledge Management
• CMDB & CSDM alignment
2. Develop workflows, Flow Designer flows, catalog items, and record producers.
3. Implement SLAs, notifications, approvals, and automation.

3. ITOM Development & Configuration

1. Implement and customize ITOM modules including:
• Discovery
• Service Mapping
• Event Management
• Operational Intelligence (AIOps)
• Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
2. Configure probes, sensors, patterns, and discovery schedules.
3. Design and maintain accurate CMDB population aligned with CSDM.
