Hybrid/Reston, VA - 2x per week
- 3 submission slots
- Hybrid - DMV candidates ONLY - will need to come onsite 1-day per week in Reston, VA - Could be more based on project needs.
- Video interview, then required F2F interview in Reston is 1000% required for hire
- Seeking a Sr. Product Owner - would like to see 6 years min as a PO, more is preferred ... wants Senior level only, has actually worked in the market, built out product roadmaps and features, knows how to take the future of a digital product. Actual hands on exp in digital product features, building stories, build and execute a road map.
- SAFe/Agile background is required.
- - Must have top notch/advanced communication skills - alot of presentations to C level, meetings with customers, internal stakeholders, etc... Wants PRISTINE comm skills (super important)
- HM will interview Product Owners with ServiceNow first .. then will consider non-ServiceNow candidates after all of the ServiceNow options. ServiceNow is the ideal tech experience.
- Product is a Customer Applications that is based around/sitting on ServiceNow. Focus is around CSM/ITSM (both are highly preferred). Not looking for ppl that used it as a ticketing system; she wants someone as a PO who is implemented ServiceNow into the business. Looking at the business to understand current pain points for the implementation that will take into account future state. The implementation knowledge of SN is more important than Healthcare insurance knowledge.-
- Product is a member engagement platform around offerings from CareFirst and the BCBSA. They are advancing the current platform, moving it to ServiceNow to leverage more features/service portals for improved member engagements.-
- Coming from a focused digital PRODUCT driven organization-= Nice to have, especially if they implemented SN into the org.-
- For this role, the HM wants good Product experience as a Product Owner. HM really wants someone who can build the roadmap (wants to give the idea and have the person build out the road map)
- Smaller companies-= Size of the company doesn't matter, but being able to work with multiple teams at once. Larger teams and larger companies are preferred, but working with multiple teams at once is very important.--
- Certifications = Certified Product Owner and/or ServiceNow certified is preferred ... Certs are not required.
- Healthcare Payor industry exp = Preferred, not required
- Customers = BCBS Plans and the Blue Cross Association (BCBSA) directly
