Our client is building secure and scalable infrastructure for institutional digital finance. The team focuses on security engineering, cryptography, blockchain, and research-backed engineering that bridges theory and practice. You will help build a secure and resilient crypto and tokenized assets custody solution leveraging MPC, secure enclaves, and robust backend services.

Rate: $85.00 to $94.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure software components for a crypto custody wallet based on MPC.
  • Apply threat modeling to anticipate and mitigate attack vectors including side-channel and MITM during MPC rounds.
  • Implement and review cryptographic code in Rust, Go, or C/C++ with secure coding practices.
  • Audit and integrate cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL and MPC-specific frameworks.
  • Leverage hardware security features including Intel SGX and HSMs, including remote attestation.
  • Integrate with blockchain nodes and APIs to assemble and broadcast transactions across networks.
  • Parse and construct blockchain transactions, including Bitcoin UTXOs and Ethereum RLP.
  • Design secure storage for encrypted key shares and audit logs, and implement robust database practices.
  • Build reliable networking, RPC, and concurrency controls for orchestrating multi-party signing.
  • Contribute to cloud security and containerized deployments to avoid misconfigurations.

Experience Requirements:
  • Expertise in secure software development and cryptography engineering.
  • Proficiency in Rust, Go, or C/C++ and secure coding against known classes of attacks.
  • Hands-on experience with cryptographic protocols, key exchange, or signature schemes.
  • Familiarity with pitfalls such as entropy quality and information leakage via error handling.
  • Experience with OpenSSL or MPC libraries and hardware security features such as Intel SGX and HSMs.
  • Background integrating blockchain nodes and APIs with the ability to parse and create transactions.
  • Knowledge of secure storage patterns and database security.
  • Understanding of cloud security and containerization for deployment.
  • Experience with Trusted Execution Environments such as Intel SGX, including remote attestation.

Bachelor's degree.
