Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer with strong expertise in Agentic AI, Context Engineering, Conversational AI, Generative AI, and AI Agent design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing enterprise AI solutions across Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure ecosystems.

This role will lead the design and development of conversational agents, virtual assistants, AI-powered applications, APIs, and enterprise integrations. The Lead AI Engineer will also mentor AI engineers, establish development standards, conduct architecture/design reviews, and work closely with business SMEs and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Agentic AI, Conversational AI, Generative AI, and virtual assistant solutions.
  • Develop AI applications that interact with REST APIs, web services, enterprise applications, and third-party systems.
  • Design overall architecture, user flows, conversational flows, APIs, integrations, and agent capabilities.
  • Develop and optimize conversational agents using Google Dialogflow CX, Google Conversational Agents, CX Agent Studio, and CCAI.
  • Implement and tune NLP, LLM, RAG, intent matching, context engineering, and AI-agent capabilities.
  • Design and maintain custom indexes and enterprise data sources to improve AI response accuracy and relevance.
  • Develop Generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, AWS Transcribe, AWS Comprehend, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions.
  • Develop AI agents using Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Language Services, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Integrate AI assistants with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and third-party APIs.
  • Create and maintain Enterprise Looker dashboards to monitor AI-agent performance and operational metrics.
  • Analyze agent interactions, identify trends, tune solutions, and improve response quality.
  • Train, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI models and agent solutions.
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI standards.
  • Conduct architecture and peer reviews and establish technical standards.
  • Lead POCs and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
  • Mentor AI engineers and provide technical leadership across AI development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, UX teams, project managers, architects, SMEs, and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture presentations, white papers, and solution proposals.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of hands-on IT design and implementation experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Conversational AI and/or Generative AI.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Dialogflow CX / Google Conversational Agents / CX Agent Studio / CCAI.
  • Experience developing web and voice-based conversational assistants.
  • 2+ years of experience developing Enterprise Looker dashboards for AI-agent monitoring and performance analysis.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, AWS Transcribe, AWS Comprehend, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Agentic AI, Context Engineering, NLP, LLM integration, RAG, AI agents, and conversational design.
  • Strong API development and integration experience.
  • Strong programming experience with one or more of Python, C#, .NET, or JavaScript.
  • Experience developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring chatbot/AI applications.
  • Strong understanding of AI security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Strong architecture, problem-solving, consulting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with business SMEs and enterprise stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry.
  • Experience with Azure AI Search and Azure AI Language Services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
  • Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint Online solutions.
  • Experience integrating AI agents with Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
  • Google Cloud and AWS AI certifications.
  • Experience leading enterprise AI architecture and POC initiatives.
  • Experience with enterprise AI governance and responsible AI frameworks.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Master's degree preferred.
