We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will contribute to resolving complex engineering challenges and participate in the design and development of our next-generation products. This position requires a background in mechanical design, particularly with injection molded plastics, a high level of proficiency in CREO 3D CAD software, and a solid understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the mechanical design of new products from understanding customer needs and initial concept, through to production and final packaging.
Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for parts and assemblies using CREO.
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to ensure that designs are optimized for production, cost, and quality.
Design and analyze complex injection molded plastic parts, ensuring performance and efficient, high-yield production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industrial design, electrical engineering, and manufacturing, to deliver integrated product solutions.
Develop and execute test plans to validate design performance and reliability.
Contribute to internal design reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Required-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design
Proven experience in Injection Molded part design
Proficiency in CREO 3D CAD software
Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM)

Preferred-
Experience with mechanism design
Experience in designing ruggedized products for harsh environments
Strong understanding of sustainable design practices
Advanced understanding of plastic injection molding part design in CREO 3D CAD
