SAP S/4HANA ABAP Technical Architect / Lead Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Technical Architect/Lead to drive HANA-native development, code remediation, and S/4HANA migration initiatives. This role combines deep hands-on ABAP for HANA expertise with the leadership skills to guide teams through Suite on HANA and S/4HANA transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead application architecture design for SAP HANA and Suite on HANA (SoH) environments
• Drive S/4HANA migration projects, including Hanatization (code remediation) using the Custom Development Migration Worklist
• Define code pushdown strategy by evaluating optimization techniques and recommending appropriate tools
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor guiding teams through S/4HANA and SoH implementation/migration projects
• Install, configure, and manage HANA Studio with ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
• Identify objects for performance optimization and apply advanced HANA code push-down techniques
• Design and develop RAP applications, CDS views, AMDP, and OData services
• Build and maintain SAP integrations using RFC, BAPI, Proxy programming, and AIF
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the development lifecycle
• Document technical designs and conduct thorough unit testing

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Strong core ABAP development skills
• Strong ABAP for HANA skills: RAP, CDS views, AMDP, OData services
• SAP integration experience: RFC, BAPI, Proxy programming, AIF
• Performance optimization and tuning expertise
• Advanced debugging and troubleshooting of complex issues
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration
• Proficiency with HANA Administration Console, HANA development, and HANA Modeling tools
• Advanced HANA code push-down techniques: Open SQL, AMDP, HANA Native SQL, SQLScript
