Summary

Position Summary

The Field Services Associate serves as LTY's representative during the construction administration phase, ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, and company standards. This role involves field inspections, coordination with project teams, contractors, and clients, and supporting successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
  • Support the Director of Field Services in construction administration activities.
  • Ensure projects comply with design drawings, specifications, and company standards.
  • Coordinate with principals, team leads, architects, contractors, and clients.
  • Maintain and manage project inspection schedules.
  • Review shop drawings, specifications, addenda, and construction documentation.
  • Participate in professional development and training programs.
  • Provide timely communication and project updates to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Engineering, Construction, Field Services, or related environments.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with:
    • AutoCAD
    • Revit
    • Bluebeam
    • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of building codes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Science, or related field.
  • Experience in MEP construction, consulting, or construction administration.
  • Experience supporting educational facility projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Electrical Systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, access control, data networks)
    • Mechanical Systems (HVAC, temperature controls)
    • Plumbing Systems (domestic water, sanitary waste, storm water, sprinkler, gas distribution, compressed air systems)
