Role Overview

We are seeking a highly hands-on Tech Lead Full Stack who will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities. This role requires regular contribution to production code while guiding architectural decisions, engineering standards, and cross-team technical direction.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using:
  • Backend: Java, Spring Boot
  • Frontend: React or Angular
  • Cloud: AWS
  • Database: SQL-based systems
• Partner closely with Solution/Enterprise Architects to:
  • Contribute to low-level design (LLD) documents
  • Review and influence overall system architecture
• Provide strong technical leadership by:
  • Conducting thorough code reviews
  • Mentoring mid-level and senior engineers
  • Establishing and enforcing engineering best practices and standards
• Be extremely hands-on writing, reviewing, and optimizing production-grade code on a regular basis
• Drive API design, new service creation, and complex refactoring initiatives
• Influence scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability decisions across systems
• Collaborate across teams and guide engineering direction beyond a single squad
  

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development
• Strong expertise in Java & Spring Boot
• Solid hands-on experience with React or Angular
• Proven experience building and deploying applications on AWS
• Strong understanding of SQL databases and data modeling
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring senior engineers
• Prior ownership of system design, refactoring, or platform modernization efforts
  

Nice to Have

• Micro services architecture experience
• API-first or event-driven system design
• CI/CD, DevOps exposure

Experience working in large-scale, distributed systems
