Lead Business Systems Analyst: plays a pivotal role in aligning business needs with technical solutions to deliver efficient and innovative services. This position supports technical systems solutions, integrations, and services across various markets, with a focus on global scalability. In this visible role, the analyst collaborates with both internal and external business analysts (BAs) to transform vision into technical reality. The position is dedicated to developing and maintaining high-quality, reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Primary Responsibilities (Must be able to perform all of these):
Technical Focus:
- Lead the integration and optimization of systems
- Oversee documentation of technical solutions and integrations, ensuring global scalability and efficiency
- Functional Review Spec (First Level)
User Stories (Requirements) Translation:
- Review and Understand User Stories: Lead the review of user stories created by the BA and ensure comprehensive understanding of the business context and objectives
- Identify Technical Stories: Oversee the translation of technical stories from user stories and ensure thorough consideration of system integrations, data flow, security, and performance
- Create Technical Stories: Lead the creation of refined technical stories considering system integrations, data flow, security, and performance
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Lead stakeholder collaboration, including the BA and development teams, gathering additional insights and clarifying ambiguities to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and technical constraints
- Refine User Stories: Lead the refinement of user stories and ensure detailed technical stories, acceptance criteria, technical tasks, and dependencies while breaking down complex user stories into smaller, manageable tasks
- Create Detailed Documentation: Oversee the documentation of refined user stories, and ensure comprehensive technical requirements and specifications; oversee creation and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base and documentation repository
- Validate and Prioritize: Lead the validation of refined user stories with stakeholders; ensure strategic prioritization and organization within sprints
Release Management:
- Oversee the documentation and communication of release scope
- Lead release activities, ensuring comprehensive planning and execution
- Lead post-release retrospectives and ensure thorough evaluation of success and identification of improvements
Agile Participation: Provide leadership and actively participate within Agile ceremonies; ensure comprehensive technical guidance and clarifications
- Including Repository Tracking with Agile Teams
- Identifying and escalating cross-program dependencies
Issue Investigation: Lead the investigation and resolution of issues with software or systems; develop remediation solution options
Requirement Fulfillment: Lead the fulfillment of business and technical needs
Cross-Team Coordination: Lead cross-team coordination; ensure cohesive and integrated solutions

Quality Assurance: Lead quality assurance activities, ensuring adherence to high standards and continuous improvements
Required Skills and Abilities - Exceptional ability to analyze business requirements and translate into technical specifications and technical stories
- Expertise in conceptual understanding of databases, programming languages, software development life cycles, system architectures, and data modeling
- Advanced ability to identify issues, develop remediation solutions, & troubleshoot problems
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale planning and coordinating release activities
- Extensive experience with Agile practices and in participating in Agile ceremonies
- Expertise in creating detailed documentation for business requirements including technical specifications, technical stories, user stories, and operational processes
- Proven capability to lead alignment and coordination across technical teams to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions
- Superior time management and ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced competency in MS applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Proficient with JIRA and Confluence
- Proficient with Waterfall, Agile SCRUM, and Kanban methodologies, demonstrating versatility in managing projects through iterative and structured approaches
