What you will do

• Lead Testing Efforts: Design and execute test strategies for complex, mission-critical web applications.
• Own the Testing Lifecycle: Oversee the entire testing process, from planning and execution to reporting and release validation.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements, assess risks, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Document & Report: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including test plans, test cases, bug reports, and release notes.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Advocate for Quality: Ensure every release meets the highest standards of reliability and performance.

What you need to have

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in web application and software system testing.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead testing efforts and take full ownership of quality assurance processes.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Experience designing, executing, and overseeing software testing in Agile environments.
  • Proficiency with issue tracking tools such as JIRA, Trac, or Redmine.
  • Strong documentation skills to clearly articulate test plans, procedures, and results.
• Mindset: A customer-first approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  (Four additional years of test engineering experience may be substituted for a degree.)
