We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This position offers an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery, hone your skills, and contribute to the production of high-quality products. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts. You will also be responsible for ensuring the machines are running at full capacity while maintaining high-quality standards and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Use precision measurement tools to verify dimensions of finished workpieces.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment.
  • Inspect and test finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Use mechanical inspection tools, metalworking, mill operation, grinding, drilling, and tooling skills to ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and overall job performance.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in precision measurement and equipment calibration.
  • Strong knowledge of machine programming and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM).
  • Extensive experience with mechanical inspection tools, metalworking, mill operation, grinding, drilling, and tooling.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Commitment to adhere to all safety and health regulations.
