This role is a hybrid engineer / doer-seller position where you will have unlimited career growth to build out this practice with unlimited support of an established firm in the area with a great reputation.

Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments, including soil, concrete, and land inspections and testing.
  • Design and implement geotechnical and foundation systems.
  • Provide technical support for land development projects, including grading, site development, and erosion control.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and review technical reports and proposals.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress.
  • Assist with land surveying and permitting processes as required.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on geotechnical engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience with inspection and testing of soil, concrete, and land.
  • Solid understanding of land development processes, including grading, site development, and erosion control.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical and environmental engineering.
  • Experience with land surveying and permitting processes.
