Industrial Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving industrial equipment to ensure maximum uptime and production efficiency. Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 hr. (Based on Experience)
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30 pm - (OT available)
Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Install, test, and maintain low voltage systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and industrial controls
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable with a strong work ethic
Industrial Maintenance Technician Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or industrial production environment
- PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Preventive maintenance programs
- Welding and fabrication experience a plus
