- Settlement-free/paid peering, PNIs, and transit management.
- BGP-powered backbone routing, traffic engineering, and capacity planning.
- Expert incident response and interconnect troubleshooting.
- Routing security leadership (RPKI, IRR enforcement).
- Cross-team collaboration with automation, NOC, legal, and procurement.
What you bring
Required:
- CCIE Routing & Switching (preferred) or equivalent hands-on mastery.
- 8+ years ISP/broadband network experience.
- Expert-level BGP, IPv4/IPv6, ASN, peering/transit.
- IXP/private interconnect experience + hands-on scripting.
- Carrier-grade routing platforms (Juniper/Cisco experience a plus).
Preferred:
- Consumer fiber broadband background (AT&T Fiber, Verizon Fios, Google Fiber, Frontier, Windstream, etc.).
- Anycast/CDN interconnects.
- Network automation and telemetry tools.
