Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced MuleSoft Architect to design and lead enterprise-wide integration solutions in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining API-led connectivity strategies, architecting scalable and secure integration frameworks, and providing technical leadership across multiple projects. This role requires deep expertise in MuleSoft Any point Platform, enterprise system integrations, and cloud-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft Any point Platform.
Define and implement API-led connectivity architecture (Experience, Process, and System APIs).
Design reusable integration frameworks and establish best practices.
Create high-level and low-level design documents.
Architect secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs and integrations.
Provide technical leadership and mentor MuleSoft developers.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and client teams.
Ensure compliance with security standards, governance, and data protection policies.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Support production deployments, troubleshoot complex integration issues, and optimize performance.
Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
Participate in architecture review boards and provide strategic guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in MuleSoft architecture.
Strong expertise in Mule 4 and Any point Platform.
Experience designing RESTful APIs using RAML/OpenAI specifications.
Strong understanding of API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, SAML).
Experience with API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Anypoint Studio.
Hands-on experience integrating with Salesforce, SAP, databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, MQ).
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven architecture.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (Preferred).
Experience working with IBM enterprise environments.
Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
