This is a senior, handson role responsible for how Salesforce changes are built, tested, deployed, and operated across the company. You ensure releases are automated, reliable, consistent, and lowrisk, working closely with Architecture, QA, Delivery Teams, and Release Management.
Key Responsibilities
Build and own standard CI/CD pipelines for all Salesforce teams
Automate build, test, and deployment processes
Enforce quality gates (tests, code checks, validations)
Ensure deployments are predictable and reversible
Support release operations and production deployments
Improve reliability, reduce failures, and stabilize environments
Manage sandboxes, test orgs, and staging environments
Embed security and compliance into pipelines
Coach teams and drive DevOps best practices across the org
Required Experience
10+ years in IT
Strong Salesforce DevOps and release automation background
Deep CI/CD and Git workflow experience
Ability to standardize processes across multiple teams
Strong communication skills
Preferred Experience
Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, FSC)
Salesforce DX, CLI, Git
Tools like Flosum, Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT
QA automation integration
Experience in scaled agile environments
