Senior Software Configuration/Release Engineer

• Lead cloud configuration, release engineering, and infrastructure automation initiatives in AWS environments.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud operations through Infrastructure as Code, automation pipelines, and robust governance practices.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and ACM.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Suite.
• Knowledge of cloud security, backup, and patching processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain configuration management processes and standards for AWS environments.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Ensure consistency and security across Dev, Test, Stage, and Production environments.
• Support release engineering activities including deployments, rollbacks, and updates.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Suite tools.
• Design and maintain automated backup and recovery solutions.
• Implement automated patching workflows for infrastructure security.
• Conduct audits on configurations, patch levels, and compliance requirements.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle including installation, renewal, and validation.
• Ensure secure communication and compliance with security standards.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and environment changes.
• Provide training and guidance on AWS, Terraform, and best practices.

Qualification And Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 8+ years of configuration management experience.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with automated backup and patching solutions.
• Experience with scripting for automation preferred.
• AWS or Terraform certifications preferred.
• Experience working in government or regulated environments preferred.
