Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer in the Denver Metro area for one of our clients. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional who has a go-getter attitude and a desire to make a difference within a well-established and growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs. They will also be assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination and documentation.

Responsibilities:
1. Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs to ensure project deadlines and expectations are met.
2. Assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination and documentation to ensure smooth operations.
3. Tracking project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and design teams to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
5. Supporting jobsite meetings and maintaining meeting minutes to ensure all necessary information is accurately recorded and communicated.
6. Reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability to avoid potential issues during the construction process.
7. Assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover to ensure all project aspects are finalized and handed over properly.

Qualifications:
1. 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Demonstrated experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs.
3. Proven ability to assist with daily project coordination and documentation.
4. Experience tracking project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and design teams.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to review plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
7. Proven experience assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
