Summary

Project Manager (Banking or Finance)

Location: New York

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project management team.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge and experience in Program Management principles and practices.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance processes.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
