Job#: 3027458 Job Description: Role OverviewThis contingent role supports complex Information Security Engineering initiatives by designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI, machine learning, and data-driven solutions that strengthen cybersecurity defense capabilities. You will analyze large-scale security data, develop intelligent automation, and deliver production-ready AI systems that enhance threat detection, response, and cyber-risk insights. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across cybersecurity, data, and cloud engineering teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesAI Engineering & Agentic Systems- Build and optimize agentic AI frameworks, including multi-agent orchestration, tool-using agents, and LLM-driven workflows.
- Develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and structured context-management systems.
- Architect and implement scalable RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector search, retrieval layers, grounding strategies, and prompt-engineering frameworks.
- Implement LLM function-calling, multi-step orchestration, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and safety controls.
Data Science & Advanced Analytics- Design, build, and deploy machine learning and analytics solutions for cybersecurity use cases such as anomaly detection, threat detection, and predictive risk modeling.
- Analyze and model large volumes of security telemetry from enterprise, cloud, identity, and endpoint platforms.
- Support cybersecurity dashboards, metrics, and insights used by operational teams and leadership.
- Apply secure engineering and data-handling practices to meet privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Python Engineering & AI Platforms- Build high-performance Python microservices and AI APIs using FastAPI, Flask, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and MCP SDKs.
- Engineer distributed AI systems designed for high-scale inference, retrieval, and multi-agent traffic.
- Use Jupyter Notebooks, Tachyon, and enterprise AI platforms for experimentation, evaluation, and model refinement.
- Contribute to reusable AI patterns, accelerators, and responsible-AI guardrails.
Cloud, Data & Platform Engineering- Deploy and operate AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) using GKE, Vertex AI, Cloud Run, IAM, and related services.
- Containerize and orchestrate AI services using OpenShift and enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines aligned with DevSecOps and enterprise governance.
- Work with Lakehouse and modern data architectures including Delta Lake, Iceberg, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Airflow-based ETL pipelines.
- Integrate vector databases such as MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, Chroma, Pinecone, Redis, and pgVector.
Architecture, Governance & Leadership- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to responsible, compliant AI governance frameworks.
- Ensure solutions align with security, risk, and regulatory standards.
- Lead POCs, innovation workstreams, and engineering improvements with minimal oversight.
- Serve as a senior technical contributor and mentor across AI, data science, and security engineering domains.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data science, analytics, machine learning, or related technical fields.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and modern ML/data science frameworks.
- Experience working with security telemetry and platforms such as SIEM, EDR, cloud, or identity systems.
- Proven experience deploying analytics or ML solutions into production environments.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and defensive technologies.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes/OpenShift for deploying scalable AI systems.
- Expertise in RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and LLM orchestration.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with generative AI or advanced automation in security or operational environments.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform cloud ecosystems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, or Zero Trust.
- Relevant security, cloud, or AI/ML certifications.
- Experience in financial services environments.
