A(n) Electrical Engineering job in Vergennes, VT 05491 is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and 3-5 of relevant experience.

Job Duties:
* Support the design, simulation, and validation of electrical circuits and systems for motor control applications
* Assist with the development of switching power supplies and power converter technologies
* Contribute to electrical engineering activities for new product development to meet specifications, quality standards, and functional objectives
* Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, systems, software, and project engineering teams to support integrated product development
* Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on existing products to improve reliability, yield, and performance
* Create and maintain engineering documentation for new and existing hardware

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
* 1-4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience (or MS with 0-2 years)
* U.S. Citizenship required
* Ability to work in a structured, process-driven engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Exposure to aerospace or defense electrical or electromechanical systems
* Familiarity with motor control technologies, including BLDC motors
* Experience or academic exposure to PCB design tools (Mentor Graphics, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, or Altium)
* Experience using circuit simulation tools such as SPICE
* Awareness of EMI/EMC and environmental qualification standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, DO-160)
* Hands-on experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $80,000-155,000, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
