IT Project Manager III – Blue Yonder MPS

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract
 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager III to lead the end-to-end implementation of Blue Yonder Master Production Scheduling (MPS) within a complex enterprise manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) planning implementations, supply chain and manufacturing initiatives, enterprise system integrations, and reporting and analytics projects.

Local candidates who can work onsite in San Jose, CA are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle of the Blue Yonder MPS implementation, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, go-live, hypercare, and project closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resource plans, deliverables, milestones, and success metrics.
• Manage cross-functional teams across IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Procurement, ERP, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and external vendors.
• Manage reporting and analytics workstreams using Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Gather reporting requirements and oversee operational dashboards and executive reporting solutions.
• Coordinate integrations between Blue Yonder, SAP/ERP platforms, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, and other enterprise applications.
• Track project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests.
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
• Manage delivery using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Oversee testing, cutover planning, deployment, post-go-live support, and hypercare activities.
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Proven experience leading Blue Yonder (JDA) implementation projects.
• Experience with Blue Yonder MPS, Supply Planning, Manufacturing Planning, or Production Planning.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing Planning, Production Scheduling, Business Intelligence, and ERP integrations.
• Experience managing reporting and analytics initiatives using Snowflake, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
• Experience leading cross-functional IT, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, ERP, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder MPS or other Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning modules.
• Experience integrating Blue Yonder with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, or similar certification.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of MRP, Finite Capacity Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, and Production Planning.
• Experience working with global and geographically distributed teams.
