Summary

Senior DevOps Engineer

We're seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and enhance cloud-based deployments. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in collaborative environments and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.

The company is located in Downtown Philadelphia and will be a hybrid model of 3 days onsite a week.

What You Will Be Doing:

Partner with Software Development, Product, and Business teams to ensure reliable system deployment and operations
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments at varying scales
Implement automation and monitoring solutions to maintain system health, performance, and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
Communicate system status, risks, and impacts clearly to product and leadership teams
Continuously improve and streamline operational processes through automation
Develop and maintain tooling for deployment, monitoring, and overall platform operations

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years of professional DevOps experience, including time operating at a senior or lead level
Hands-on experience with AWS (experience with additional cloud platforms is a plus)
Strong background in Linux/Unix systems
Security-first mindset with experience reducing operational risk through technical controls
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
Working knowledge of databases and related technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
Experience with microservices architectures and message queue technologies
Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCI, or similar platforms
Experience using Git or other version control systems within Agile development environments
Solid understanding of modern platform technologies and industry best practices
Financial services industry experience is a plus but not required
