Technical Implementation Specialist – Microsoft Intune / Enterprise MDM Specialist

Location: Jackson, Mississippi

Work Mode: 50% Remote, occasional onsite as required

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune and Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) Specialist to plan, configure, implement, and support the agency’s endpoint and mobile device management environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Apple Business Manager, and enterprise MDM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, implement, and support Microsoft Intune and enterprise endpoint management solutions.

• Configure device enrollment, compliance policies, Conditional Access, application deployment, and endpoint security policies.

• Integrate Apple Business Manager and Apple Automated Device Enrollment (ADE/DEP) with Microsoft Intune.

• Configure and support Android Enterprise device management.

• Support migration from Meraki or other MDM platforms to Microsoft Intune.

• Troubleshoot device enrollment, synchronization, application deployment, and compliance issues.

• Implement security baselines and ensure alignment with state, federal, and agency security standards.

• Support Windows Autopilot and endpoint provisioning.

• Develop technical documentation, implementation recommendations, and operational procedures.

• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to agency IT staff.

• Collaborate with IT teams to modernize and streamline device deployment and management processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management.

• Hands-on experience implementing enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).

• Experience with Apple Business Manager and Apple DEP/ADE.

• Experience configuring Conditional Access, device compliance policies, and endpoint security policies.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint security best practices.

• Experience with device enrollment, application deployment, configuration profiles, and policy management.

• Ability to troubleshoot device enrollment, synchronization, and compliance issues.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience preparing technical documentation and providing knowledge transfer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with state government or public-sector organizations.

• Experience migrating from Meraki or other MDM platforms to Microsoft Intune.

• Knowledge of Windows Autopilot and endpoint provisioning.

• Familiarity with STIG, CIS Benchmarks, or other security compliance standards.

• Microsoft certifications in Intune, Azure, or Endpoint Management.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.

• Experience integrating MDM solutions with ticketing and IT asset management systems.
