Role Overview : We are seeking a highly experienced Network Consultant to support the deployment and configuration of NetScout Infini Stream and nGenius ONE in a large enterprise network environment. The consultant will be responsible for configuring traffic acquisition (SPAN/TAP), validating packet capture, and supporting deep packet inspection (DPI) monitoring and alerting across multiple NYC locations.

This role requires hands-on expertise in routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, OSPF) and strong experience implementing packet capture solutions in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign ports and configure IP addressing for NetScout management interfaces.
• Configure SPAN ports to mirror traffic required for monitoring.
• Implement TAP links into the production path without impacting live traffic.
• Configure port mirroring and traffic acquisition for NetScout devices.
• Validate packet capture on each device and configure alert thresholds.
• Support troubleshooting using packet-level analysis and deep packet inspection tools.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of networking experience, including routing protocols in large environments.
• Hands-on experience with BGP, MPLS, and OSPF.
• Minimum 15 years of deep packet inspection (DPI) experience.
• Proven experience deploying and rolling out NetScout Infini Stream solutions.
