Sr. Programmer Analyst Snowflake & Qlik

Location: Bellaire, TX (Hybrid Local Candidates Only)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Programmer Analyst to support a Snowflake migration project. This individual will be responsible for building Snowflake data marts and developing and maintaining Qlik interfaces that consume the data to support reporting and analytics.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, advanced SQL, Qlik Sense development, data modeling, and the creation of reliable, high-performing reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Snowflake data marts to support business reporting and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain Qlik Sense applications and interfaces that consume Snowflake data.
  • Design and implement Snowflake tables, views, tasks, and streams.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and ELT processes.
  • Create Qlik data load scripts, dashboards, visualizations, and reusable data models.
  • Build curated reporting views, certified datasets, and standardized business metrics and KPIs.
  • Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot data and reporting issues.
  • Implement data security, access management, and publishing rules.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL.
  • Experience building data marts and designing dimensional data models, including fact and dimension tables.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Qlik Sense applications.
  • Proficiency with Qlik load scripts, data modeling, Set Analysis, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Experience with ELT/ETL development and data integration.
  • Knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Experience creating reporting views, reusable metrics, and business intelligence datasets.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule onsite in Bellaire, TX, approximately 2 3 days per week or more as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Experience with data architecture, semantic layers, and enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Experience in project leadership or project management.
  • Healthcare or managed care systems experience.

Work Schedule

Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with a hybrid schedule requiring regular on-site availability in Bellaire, TX.
