Pay Range: $162,000 - $175,000
We are seeking a hands-on Technology Implementation & Operations Manager to lead emerging technology initiatives and implementation of new applications, hardware, network systems, and software across our senior living communities. This role combines technical depth, project leadership, and people management to drive innovative solutions that improve resident and staff experience.
Overview
- Manage the emerging technology project management team delivering technology projects across multiple locations.
- Full lifecycle of new technology initiatives: from support with RFP and vendor selection through development, deployment, training, and ongoing optimization.
- Work directly with technical teams and data to design, implement, and improve solutions in a complex, multi-site environment.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and oversee end-to-end project management for technology deployments (applications, hardware, network systems, and software) across multiple communities.
- Manage, coach, and develop Project Managers; provide direction, remove roadblocks, and ensure delivery against scope, budget, and timelines.
- Support RFP process, define requirements, evaluate vendors, participate in solution design, and recommend selections.
- Collaborate with internal IT, operations, and community leaders to plan rollout strategies, change management, and communication for new systems.
- Coordinate and support deployment activities, including configuration, testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation stabilization.
- Perform hands-on technical work such as writing scripts, working with SQL, supporting integrations
- Use BI tools and reporting to analyze performance, adoption, and outcomes of deployed solutions, and recommend improvements.
- Apply project management methodologies and maintain PM tools for project plans, resource allocation, dashboards, and reporting.
- Participate in research and development of emerging technologies (including AI and advanced analytics) relevant to senior living operations and resident care.
- Frequent travel (approx. 30%-40%) within California to Front Porch locations to support in-person implementation, training, and services.
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience in technology project or program management, ideally in a multi-site or operationally complex environment.
- Working knowledge of network/systems, software development lifecycles, and application deployment.
- Hands-on technical background with the ability to understand code, write scripts.
- Practical experience with SQL (queries, basic data manipulation) and BI/reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Strong familiarity with project management tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience in senior living or healthcare environments.
- Background in R&D or evaluating and piloting emerging technologies.
