It is well suited to someone who enjoys working with people, learns technology quickly, and performs consistently in a process-driven environment.

What You Will Do

Participant Experience

·        Welcome participants, complete check-in activities, and confirm required documentation.

·        Explain session steps clearly, answer procedural questions, and help participants feel comfortable with the process.

·        Guide participants through structured activities while maintaining a professional and respectful experience.

Session Execution and Data Quality

·        Follow approved session guides, checklists, and operating procedures to ensure consistent execution.

·        Monitor sessions, document outcomes, and promptly escalate safety, privacy, technical, or participant concerns.

·        Confirm that required recordings, files, logs, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.

Equipment and Site Support

·        Prepare, test, and operate mobile devices, cameras, sensors, and related data collection equipment.

·        Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate additional support when an issue cannot be resolved locally.

·        Assist with daily site setup, equipment inventory, study materials, scheduling, and participant flow.

Minimum Qualifications

·        High school diploma or equivalent.

·        At least one year of experience in customer service, research support, field operations, data collection, event coordination, healthcare support, laboratory support, or administrative operations.

·        Clear verbal and written communication skills.

·        Comfort interacting professionally with people from varied backgrounds.

·        Basic technical aptitude and the ability to learn new devices, tools, and procedures.

·        Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow documented processes.

·        Ability to work onsite in San Diego and accommodate schedule flexibility when program needs require it.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Associate degree, bachelor degree, or equivalent additional experience.

·        Experience supporting studies, surveys, events, field programs, or other structured participant activities.

·        Experience operating cameras, sensors, tablets, mobile devices, or comparable equipment.

·        Experience in handling confidential or sensitive information.

·        Current first aid or CPR certification.

What Success Looks Like

·        Participants receive clear instructions and a consistently professional experience.

·        Sessions are completed according to procedure, with accurate records and high-quality data capture.

·        Equipment and study materials are ready, organized, and properly accounted for.

·        Potential issues are identified early and escalated through the appropriate channels.

·        Team members can rely on you for punctuality, adaptability, collaboration, and careful execution.
