About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle EBS Finance & Supply Chain Expert to lead functional design, implementation, and support activities across Oracle E-Business Suite R12. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and Supply Chain (PO, INV, OM, BOM, WIP, Cost Management), with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions in complex enterprise environments.
This role requires a seasoned functional consultant who can bridge business requirements with Oracle EBS capabilities, lead gap analysis, configure modules, and drive successful project delivery from requirements gathering through go-live and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership & Solution Design
Lead functional design and implementation activities for Oracle EBS R12 Finance and Supply Chain modules
Conduct requirements gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions with business stakeholders
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and process flows
Design scalable end-to-end solutions for Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Financial Close processes
Provide expert guidance on Oracle EBS best practices, standard functionality, and customization minimization
Configuration & Implementation
Configure Oracle EBS Financials modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Configure Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules: Purchasing (PO), Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Advanced Pricing, BOM, WIP, and Cost Management
Set up enterprise structures: Chart of Accounts (COA), legal entities, operating units, inventory organizations, ledgers, and accounting calendars
Configure Multi-Org Access Control (MOAC), intercompany accounting, and cross-entity transaction flows
Design and validate approval workflows using Oracle Workflow and AME (Approvals Management)
Testing & Validation
Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing cycles
Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and validation criteria for Finance and Supply Chain processes
Perform impact assessments for Oracle patches, quarterly updates, and application upgrades
Coordinate cutover validation, go-live readiness, and post-production stabilization
Support parallel testing and reconciliation activities during implementations and upgrades
Production Support & Issue Resolution
Provide production support for Oracle EBS Finance and Supply Chain modules
Troubleshoot complex functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions
Resolve issues related to transactions, workflows, interfaces, reports, and integrations
Coordinate with Oracle Support (MOS) for service requests and patch resolution
Document issue logs, resolutions, and knowledge transfer materials
Integration & Reporting
Design and support inbound/outbound integrations using Oracle APIs, open interfaces, interface tables, REST/SOAP services, and Oracle SOA Suite
Collaborate with technical teams on data migration, conversion, and reconciliation activities
Develop and validate BI Publisher/XML Publisher reports, OTBI reports, and operational dashboards
Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance requirements
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, and business teams to align Oracle EBS solutions with organizational objectives
Facilitate design reviews, solution walkthroughs, and executive presentations
Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate project status, and escalate risks and issues
Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance to technical teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) functional experience
Deep expertise in Oracle EBS Financials: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA
Deep expertise in Oracle EBS Supply Chain: PO, INV, OM, BOM, WIP, Cost Management
Proven experience leading full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and production support
Strong experience with Multi-Org Access Control (MOAC) and multi-entity accounting
Experience with intercompany accounting, due-to/due-from, and eliminations
Functional & Technical Skills
Oracle EBS R12 configuration and setup across Finance and Supply Chain modules
Requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and functional design documentation (FDDs, BR100, MD050)
Testing leadership: SIT, UAT, regression testing, patch testing, cutover validation
Oracle Workflow and AME configuration for approvals
BI Publisher/XML Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Reports
Oracle APIs, open interfaces, interface tables, and REST/SOAP services
SQL and PL/SQL exposure for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
Data migration and conversion experience using APIs, interface tables, and SQL*Loader
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior consultants
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
Client-facing consulting experience with Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle EBS R12 certification in Financials or Supply Chain
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials or SCM (integration or migration)
Experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) or Oracle SOA Suite
Knowledge of SOX compliance, audit controls, and segregation of duties
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or financial services industries
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
Work Environment
