Business Analyst
On-site | Austin, TX | Contract
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in analyzing business processes, documenting system requirements, and facilitating communication between business and IT teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects while driving system improvements and ensuring quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate business systems and user needs to create detailed documentation of complex system requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive system documents that support efficient design and uphold quality standards.
Design test plans and collaborate with end users to conduct user acceptance testing for new and existing system functionalities.
Analyze policies and procedures to assess their impact on automated systems and functional areas.
Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, providing documentation, consultation, and strategic direction.
Reengineer existing processes and identify technological solutions to address evolving business needs.
Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and propose effective mitigation strategies.
Keep stakeholders informed by distributing project updates and status reports.
Facilitate service request processes, including coordinating business requirements, reviewing technical specifications, and overseeing system testing.
Independently perform complex tasks, utilizing creativity and latitude to achieve project goals.
Requirements
Proven experience in business analysis, including documentation and system evaluation.
Strong background in call center customer service or similar environments.
Expertise in reviewing and analyzing documents to ensure alignment with business needs.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies for project management and development.
Ability to perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to interact with diverse teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
