This opportunity is based in New York, NY, and requires the selected candidate to work onsite at the client's office five days a week. While the primary location is New York, the client is also open to candidates who are willing to relocate to this area to fulfill the onsite-hybrid requirements of the role.

The Technical Test Lead will serve as a critical functional testing expert within the banking and payments domain, specifically focusing on the delivery of high-quality technology solutions for complex payment systems. You will lead functional testing efforts, providing specialized expertise for various business scenarios and guiding automation teams to streamline functional testing flows. Operating within an Agile framework, the role involves managing test deliverables in an onsite-offshore model, coordinating extensively with multiple stakeholders, and liaising directly with business teams to support User Acceptance Testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of payment processing initiatives while maintaining clear communication across all project levels to meet the technical and operational goals of the organization.

The successful candidate must possess deep knowledge of the payments domain, specifically regarding ISO20022 and Swift MT/MX raw message payment processing including CBPR+ Swift and Lynx. Mastery of the GPP product is essential, as is a strong proficiency in using Jira and following Agile methodologies. Technical competencies should include a solid understanding of DB SQL queries and Kafka, with preference given to those who also bring experience in API automation using Java and Selenium. A bachelor's degree or a qualifying equivalent of progressive professional experience is required, alongside exceptional coordination and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional requirements.
